I am a qualified English lawyer specialising in insurance fraud litigation. My credentials are here.

I set up Legal Japanese Limited after spending 4 years in Japan where I became fluent in the native language and familiar with the country’s unique customs and traditions. Upon achieving the highest level possible for foreign learners of Japanese (Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1), I returned to England to complete my legal training at nexus solicitors, a niche commercial law practice in central Manchester.

The bulk of my work involves translation of Japanese legal documents for various end clients with an emphasis on international law firms.

I live in Manchester with my wife who, as a native Japanese, greatly assists me in understanding the often complex cultural setting in which documents must be interpreted.
